PRESCHOOL FOR ALL PROGRAM
Frassati Catholic Academy hosts a Preschool for All program (PFA) within our school building. PFA is a program funded by the Illinois State Board of Education to provide a free, 2.5-hour preschool program for 3 (must be 3 years of age on or before Sept. 1) and 4-year-old children who qualify. This high-quality program brings together qualified staff, a proven curriculum, and parent involvement to help prepare children for success in school.
Hours of operation for this program are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 11:30 am every day that school is in session. An optional, full-day preschool program is available for a reduced tuition rate, as well as before and aftercare. Please visit our preschool page or contact us for information about tuition and fees for an extended day option.
The screening process for the PFA program includes a developmental screening administered to the child and a parent interview. This is required to determine your child’s eligibility for the Preschool for All program. Every effort will be made to provide assistance with the family’s home language. If it is determined that your family meets the USDA FY22 Income Eligibility Guidelines for Free and Reduced-Price Meals along with other criteria, then your child may be eligible for the PFA program. Please see the following documents for additional details about the Preschool for All program.
