Frassati Catholic Academy Tuition Assistance
A Quick Guide for Families: Supporting Families in Choosing Catholic Education
At Frassati Catholic Academy, we believe that families who desire a Catholic education for their children should have the opportunity to pursue one. Choosing Catholic education is an investment in your child’s academic growth, faith formation, character, and future, and we understand the sacrifice families make to make that investment possible.
We recognize that every family’s financial circumstances are unique. Our goal is to work with families whenever possible and to help make a Frassati Catholic Academy education a viable choice.
To help make Catholic education more accessible, tuition assistance may be available through the Archdiocese of Chicago, as well as through Frassati Catholic Academy Hardship Assistance for families experiencing significant or unexpected life circumstances.
Important Information About Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available and is based on each family’s demonstrated financial need.
Financial assistance funds are limited, and awards are made on a rolling basis as funding is available. Because available funds may be committed throughout the application period, we strongly encourage families to begin the application process as early as possible.
While assistance cannot be guaranteed, we are happy to work with families to explore available options.
Step 1: Create Your FACTS Account
Before tuition assistance can be considered, families must first create a FACTS account.

Once your account has been established, you can complete the tuition assistance application. When applying, be sure to select:

Step 2: Complete Your Tuition Assistance Application
After creating your FACTS account, complete and submit the required tuition assistance application along with any requested financial documentation. Your application will be reviewed through the Archdiocese of Chicago tuition assistance process.
The application process is designed to help assess each family’s individual financial circumstances. All information submitted for financial aid consideration is treated confidentially.
The earlier your application is completed and submitted, the greater your opportunity may be to receive available funding.
Step 3: Allow Time for the Review Process
Financial aid applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as funds are available. Once the application has been reviewed, Frassati Catholic Academy will be notified if an Archdiocesan tuition assistance award is available for your family. The principal will then contact your family regarding the outcome and any next steps.
Step 4: Additional Hardship Assistance
If Archdiocesan tuition assistance is not available, or if the amount awarded does not fully address your family’s circumstances, there may still be an opportunity to discuss Hardship Assistance through Frassati Catholic Academy.
Hardship Assistance is intended to support families who may be experiencing a significant or unexpected life-changing event or other circumstances that create an additional financial challenge.
Any additional assistance provided by the school is determined at the school’s discretion and considers factors such as:
-
Demonstrated financial need
-
The family’s individual circumstances
-
The family’s ability to contribute toward tuition
-
Available school tuition assistance funds
While we are happy to explore available options with families, additional school assistance cannot be guaranteed.
Step 5: Have a Conversation With Us
We understand that financial circumstances are not always fully reflected by an application. If your family is experiencing financial challenges, the principal welcomes the opportunity to meet with you one-on-one to discuss your individual circumstances.
Our goal is to have an honest, respectful, and supportive conversation about what may be possible for your family.
Our Commitment to Families
At Frassati Catholic Academy, we are committed to supporting families who desire a Catholic education for their children. We understand that circumstances can change, and we want families to know that they do not have to navigate those challenges alone.
While available tuition assistance funds are limited and assistance cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to listen, communicate openly, and explore available options whenever possible.
Don’t wait to apply. The earlier you create your FACTS account and complete your tuition assistance application, the greater your opportunity may be to receive available funding.
