About Frassati Catholic Academy

Frassati Catholic Academy, a Catholic Consortium of Lake County school, is comprised of three area schools and parishes. The Consortium is composed of Transfiguration Catholic Elementary, St. Mary of the Annunciation Elementary, Frassati Catholic Academy middle school. Schools are served in partnership with the Transfiguration parish of Wauconda and the St. Mary of the Annunciation and Santa Maria del Popolo parishes in Mundelein.

Students attend Pre-K through grade 5 at St. Mary of the Annuncation Elementary or Transfiguration Elementary schools and then transition to Frassati Catholic Academy (located on the same campus as Transfiguration) where students from the other regional schools join together for a robust and challenging experience in a STEM focused Catholic middle school.

As a Catholic school we are not only committed to our Catholic identity, but through our Spiritual Charter we aim to form our students and faculty in the spirit and charisms of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, the patron of our academy. Our Spiritual Charter (see link in the "Pray for Us" section of our home page) highlights five charisms drawn from the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio: 1) a Spirit of the Beatitudes; 2) Healthy Relationships; 3) the Centrality of the Eucharist; 4) Discipleship & Mission; and 5) Perseverance – Reaching for the Heights. These charisms form the foundation of the spirituality that we infuse into everything we do at Frassati Catholic Academy and hope to pass on to our students in the building of their character and the life-long practice of their faith.

We welcome inquiries and we welcome your support through gifts that will enable us to sustain and further develop our mission in Catholic education.
