Busing

Bus arrangements are handled by Wauconda School District #118 for our Wauconda Campus.

Frassati Catholic Academy offers a Shuttle Bus service for families who do not have access to the

D118 bus service.  This Shuttle Bus also offers Cluster Stops for those interested in using the

 following locations for drop-off/pick-up as well. 

  • Round Lake Park District

  • Our Lord's Little's Ones Early Childhood Center (OLLO)

  • Santa Maria del Popolo Parish

  • St. Mary of the Annunciation



Drop-off & Dismissal Procedures

  

Morning Car Drop Off - Students can be dropped off in the back parking lot at our Wauconda Campus as early as 6:30am for our Extended Day Program (EDP) until 8:15am.   Parents are welcome to walk their child into the school by parking in front of the school building, and park in the Banquet Parking Lot. Class start time is 8:30am. Students arriving via bus should report to either their classrooms or the Atrium. On Late Start Fridays, all procedures will remain the same, however class start time is 9:00am.  



Afternoon Pick Up - Students intended to go to EDP will be walked to the EDP Coordinator after school by their teacher. Parents intending to pick up your child must park either on the Mill Street or park in the Banquet Parking Lot and walk to the front sidewalk for pick-up or utilize .  Parents should arrive approximately 3:15pm and wait for their child at the front of the school.  If you intend to pick up your child prior to the end of the day dismissal, you must sign in and out at the office. Students riding a bus will be walked to the Middle School wing of the campus and wait in designated classrooms until their bus arrives and will depart out the north side doors to board the bus upon arrival. 

*There is no parking in the back parking lot during the drop-off and pick-up times. 

Student Behavior

All Frassati Catholic Academy buses and bus routes are considered to be an extension of the school. While on any Frassati Catholic Academy bus, all students are expected to act in accordance with our values and be respectful. Any student reported for inappropriate behavior will be given a demerit. Depending on the offense, the student may also be suspended from riding the bus, which will be determined by the Principal.
