Pastor’s Board
Members of the Pastors’ Board are the assigned pastors or administrators of the Participating Parishes to Frassati Catholic Academy. There are currently three – Santa Maria del Popolo in Mundelein, St. Mary of the Annunciation in Fremont Center/Mundelein and Transfiguration in Wauconda. The Pastors’ Board’s role is to ensure that the essential mission, vision and values of Frassati Catholic Academy as a Catholic middle school in the Archdiocese of Chicago are consistently maintained.

President of the Pastors’ Board
The President of the Pastors’ Board is chosen by the members of the Pastors’ Board by consensus and confirmed by the Archbishop of Chicago. The President is the administrative and spiritual leader of Frassati Catholic Academy.

Executive Board
The Pastors’ Board has established the Executive Board to assist them in the governance of Frassati Catholic Academy. The Executive Board has specific responsibilities in the areas of Strategic Planning, Fiscal Management, Physical Resources and Institutional Advancement (development, communication, marketing and enrollment management).

Principal
The Principal serves as the administrator of Frassati Catholic Academy and reports to the President of the Pastors’ Board.

Dr. Diane Vida

Here's a short bio with a brief representation of Dr. Vida's background and accomplishments:
Dr. Diane Vida brings over 35 years of experience in Catholic and public school education and administration to FrassatiCatholicAcademy. Most recently she was Principal for St. Mary Catholic School in Woodstock, IL. Prior to this Dr. Vida spent over 26 years with District 124 in Fox Lake, IL, in Administration, including District Director of Humanities Curriculum and Instruction.
She holds a Doctorate of Education and Administration from Drake University; a Masters of Arts in Administration and Supervision from Roosevelt University and a BA Honors in English and Education from Western Illinois University. She has her Illinois Superintendent Endorsement, Type 75 Administration/Supervision and Illinois Secondary endorsement.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vida has held a variety of positions, beginning as a middle school teacher of language arts; an English/Science instructor at the high school level promoted to Dean of Students before going on to other administrative positions of responsibility; and an adjunct professor at Aurora University. She has won numerous awards for excellence in education, including the Illinois Principals Association Herman Graves award and the ISBE “Those Who Excel” Award. In addition to her accomplishments in academics, she also has experience as a volleyball coach, softball coach and cheerleading coach.
Athletic Board
The role of the Athletic Board is to establish athletic policy (under the oversight of the Principal) and review annually the athletic program and to ensure the successful staging of all athletic events held at Frassati Catholic Academy.
